TOURNAMENT RULES:

Players selected randomly will be assigned to one of eight tables, playing a four-person game of Catan.  Players will be awarded points based on Round One finishing rank: 

First Place = Table Points Earned + 4 Points

Second Place = Table Points Earned + 3 Points

Third Place = Table Points Earned + 2 Points

Fourth Place = Table Points Earned + 1 Point

In the case of a tie, a die roll will determine standing.

A repeat of Round One will occur,  players will be assigned to one of eight tables, based on Round One finishing status and ranking, playing a four-person game of Catan.  Players will be awarded points based on Round Two finishing rank: 

First Place = Table Points Earned + 4 Points

Second Place = Table Points Earned + 3 Points

Third Place = Table Points Earned + 2 Points

Fourth Place = Table Points Earned + 1 Point

In the case of a tie, a die roll will determine standing.

Individual player's points will be totaled for both previously played rounds and will be assigned to a final table based on point totals and rank.   In the case of a tie with points, the winners will be determined by the previous Highest Winning Table Position Rankings and then, if needed, a Roll of the Die.  Players will be assigned to the following final tables:

Sheep Table

Wheat Table

Stone Table

Wood Table

Brick Table

City Table

Settlement Table

Road Table

Port Table

Knight Table

Desert Table

Robber Table

Prizes will be awarded to the designated winners.

Prizes will be awarded to the Third Round winners at each table, with the overall Ruler of Catan receiving a trophy and cash prize.  The awards and prizes will be announced prior to game play on the day of the event.

Some food will be provided for the players, with additional menu items available, at the location, for purchase and consumption.

The Fool of Catan overall last place loser will also walk away with famed acknowledgement and the weight of shame on their shoulders.

All participants will receive a memento of their participation and play!

In the case of a tie during points and ranking, highest daily winning table position rankings, and if needed, a die roll between players will occur, with the higher point total, table rank and die roll determining the standings.
